Little Lady of The Month- February

February 7, 2017
  • Hey little lady, tell everyone a little bit more about yourself.

Hello ladies, my name is Anadescha Johnson. I’m currently a graduate nurse transitioning to a registered nurse; product of the University of the Bahamas. I am passionate about growth and self-development, believing that no one should ever become content with complacency.

  • If you could describe a lady in three words what would they be?

A lady should be: Courteous, Inspirational, and Ambitious

  •  What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you this of the word ‘lady’?

When I think of a lady I think of someone who demands respect in the gentlest way. I think of someone with class and dignity, not just physically but mentally and spiritually as well. It takes a true lady to realize that there is a need for physical, mental and spiritual development.

  •  State one reason why you think being a lady is important.

You have the opportunity to be a generation changer. Being a lady can be the gateway for this possibility. There are many persons out there waiting for a life changing encounter. If we pursue reaching our full potential through continuous growth and self-development .we can be the change agents for our generation.

  • What's something you would like to say to all the little ladies out there?

Ladies, let us set a new standard by changing the simplistic way ladies are viewed and defined by society. Don’t allow yourself to settle for merely looking good but also embrace the need for development in other areas. By doing this, not only will the physical appearance change but your actions, speech, the way you handle people, your approach etc., will also be changed. In everything put God to the forefront.

“Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised” (Proverbs 31:30). Dare to be a representation of a true lady.
